Fall Wedding in East Tennessee

Did you know that East Tennessee is one of the top wedding destinations in all of America?! If you’ve visited the mountains of East Tennessee in the autumn, there is no doubt why it is such a popular spot! The colors are vibrant, the views are breathtaking, and the weather is always comfortable! This is one of the reasons why Harleigh & Jonathan decided to have their family & friends in Florida travel to Tennessee for their beautiful October wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous day at The Venue at Greenbrier in Gatlinburg, TN filled with love, special details, and lots of fun!

The Gatlinburg Wedding Details

The theme of Harleigh & Jonathan’s wedding day was Alice In Wonderland & the teams with Say Yes with Jess Weddings (wedding coordinator) & Vintage Floral Designs (flowers) nailed every detail! The decor was beautiful with mushrooms & greenery everywhere you looked. There were books, clocks, candles, and my favorite touch…unique glass goblets that the guests took home as party favors! Such a cute idea! Harleigh had her stepmom sew her “something blue” patch into her gown & that made such a special moment to photograph. And speaking of Harleigh…she looked like a fairytale princess! Absolutely stunning!

The Party at The Venue at Greenbrier

After the couples got ready, Harleigh did a first look with her dad, took pictures with her sweet bridesmaids, and read a letter from Jonathan. We also did photos with the groom & groomsmen prior to the ceremony. The couple said their vows on a beautiful deck with absolutely gorgeous view of the Tennessee mountains. Then, the party started! The toasts were thoughtful, the food was delicious, and the dancing may have been the best I have seen all year! Harleigh & Jonathan ended the night with a private first dance (to one of my favorite songs, The Best Part by Daniel Caesar ft. H.E.R.) and then had an awesome bubble exit with the whole group! All in all, it was a wonderful day that never felt hurried and incorporated all of the details that Harleigh & Jonathan dreamed up. Autumn weddings in East Tennessee will always hold a special place in my heart!
