Why is Sevierville a Great Place for Engagement Photos?

Sevierville, TN is one of the most popular destinations for weddings & engagements, and there is no surprise why! Nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee, Sevierville is close to both city & country with gorgeous views of the mountains and the coziest downtown area. Kriston & Josh wanted a location that would include both their love of nature & more urban, city vibes, and Sevierville could not have been a better choice!

Beautiful Mountain Views in Sevierville

We started Kriston & Josh’s engagement photos at The Blue Mountain Mist venue in Sevierville. Blue Mountain Mist is the cutest bed & breakfast that also hosts events & small weddings. I had recently photographed a wedding here & remembered the beautiful view of the mountains in the background. Kriston & Josh wanted photos that highlighted their love of nature & hiking, but didn’t necessarily want to drive into Cades Cove. This was the perfect place! It was a bit drizzly & cold when we started shooting, but we were lucky enough to have a peek of golden sun before we finished up!

The Cutest City Vibes in Downtown Sevierville

After our photos at Blue Mountain Mist, we jumped in the car & drove a few minutes to downtown Sevierville. This downtown area is oh-so cute & was perfect for capturing the urban vibes that Kriston & Josh wanted. We started by walking down Main Street for some cute photo ops & then ventured into Honeybee coffee for a warm up & some cozy, coffee shop photos. All in all, we had such an awesome time & got a gallery of images that showcased both the city & country vibes that this couple wanted. I can’t wait for their October wedding at The Ramsey House! I know it will be a fun, beautiful day!
